Shout-out to crime writer Trevor Wood’s latest novel in the DCI Jack Parker series
On Thursday 10th July at Daunt bookshop in Cheapside, London #TeamJimmy were delighted to meet up again with Trevor Wood at the launch of the latest DCI Jack Parker novel: The Inside Man.
Trevor is a real fan of Jimmy’s writing and has previously mentioned how he discovered The Veterans’ Survival Guide whilst researching his first novel ‘The Man on the Street’ – about a homeless veteran with PTSD.
Trevor Wood’s books are a brilliant and gripping read. The Man On The Street, his first novel, was published to widespread critical acclaim. Trevor’s latest novels feature DCI Jack Parker as he faces another tough case. All of Trevor’s book are available at: https://trevorwoodauthor.co.uk

Michael O’Brien – The Blind Truth Podcast
Michael O’Brien, a man who spent 11 years in prison for a murder he did not commit. Michael speaks to The Blind Truth Podcast on the topics of injustice, forgiveness and hope, and also mentions Jimmy and the work of Veterans in Prison. Checkout the link:

Michael’s conviction was quashed on 17 December 1999 after new evidence was presented to the Court of Appeal.
